Dead Calm plot

• An Australian couple take a sailing trip in the Pacific to forget about a terrible accident. While on the open sea, in dead calm, they come across a ship with one survivor who is not at all what he seems.

Dead Calm goofs

• CREW: When Rae tells Hughie to get the canopy down, he shuts the door and we see Rae through a mirror while she gets the shotgun; the camera is briefly visible in the mirror before quickly moving out of sight.
• CONT: During the first part of the sex scene Hughie rips off Rae’s shorts and underwear. When she slips on a robe to go run up on deck and get the shotgun, she is wearing a white thong underneath her robe.
• CONT: At the end of the film, the suds from the shampoo in Rae’s hair disappear.
• FACT: In the scene where Rae is loading the shotgun, you can see the primers of the shotgun shells that have already been fired.
• CONT: SPOILER: When John is trapped in the sinking boat and has to resort to using the pipe to breathe, it’s clearly visible that there is no air at all in the room he’s in. When he notices a fish got into the room, you can see air pockets in the ceiling.
